Purchase/Sale Agreement

I agree to purchase a ‹ male/ ‹ female European Burmese cat as a pet from Gayle Florence Cane for the sum of $650,
payable in cash, PayPal,  or  by money order.  I , the buyer, agree to provide the cat with a safe and loving home.  I
further agree to feed the cat a high quality cat food, such as Science Diet, Wellness, Eukanuba, or Royal Canin, and to
have the cat neutered or spayed at an appropriate age (6-8 months). The buyer  agrees NOT to have the cat
declawed, nor allow the cat to roam where it will be in harm’s way.

I understand that if I am ever unable to keep the cat, it is important to the breeder that the cat not be placed in a
shelter.  The cat may be returned to the breeder at any time. However, the buyer will at that time relinquish all rights of
ownership to the cat unless both parties agree upon other arrangements in writing.

I , the seller, affirm that the cat was born on  (date)  and is in good health at the time of sale or shipment as evidenced
by the official veterinary Certificate of Health.  Since the kitten will experience a change of environment/climate with the
new home, seller agrees to provide immediate veterinary attention for signs of a cold or diarrhea at his/her expense. All
appropriate vaccinations for the age of the cat have been provided.  The cat’s next series of vaccinations will be due at
the following time:

The cat is a purebred European Burmese, registered with CFA. The cat is healthy and well socialized.  The buyer
should feel free to consult with the seller during the re-homing period in order to make a smooth and happy transition
for all concerned. If the cat is found to have any serious health issues through examination by a veterinarian within 5
business days of purchase that are not related to change of climate, the buyer may return the cat to the seller for a full
refund.  The exception to this policy will be for illness or injury that is a direct result of neglect under the buyer’s care or
accident in the buyer’s home. The seller further affirms that she will replace the kitten for the cost of shipping or
transportation only if it dies before its first birthday due to a congenital defect, certified in writing by a veterinarian.
